Paju-based agricultural corporation SUJISLINK in Wollong-myeon has drawn attention for announcing its commitment to the global trend of ESG management (environmental, social, and governance), which is unusual for an agricultural corporation.

On the 21st, SUJISLINK held an ESG vision declaration ceremony, where the company set shared goals for employees and management to work towards together. Since its founding in 2016 as a ready-to-eat meal specialist, SUJISLINK has recently expanded into a plant-based alternative protein FoodTech company.

The joint effort between labor and management in promoting ESG is aimed at preparing for the completion and full operation of an environmentally friendly facility designed for the large-scale production of plant-based alternative protein, a first in Korea, with an investment of around 18 billion won by July. (continue)
