Discussions regarding the promotion of the alternative food industry as a response to climate change took place at the National Assembly.
On the 29th, So Byung-hoon (Democratic Party, Gyeonggi Province's Gwangju City), Chairman of the National Assembly’s Agriculture, Food, Rural Affairs, Oceans and Fisheries Committee, and Kim Yun-deok (Democratic Party, Jeonju City), a member of the National Assembly’s Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee, jointly hosted a policy roundtable on "Promoting the Alternative Food Industry as a Response to Climate Change" at the National Assembly Members’ Office Building.
The roundtable included a presentation from Lee Chang-won, a professor involved in Woosuk University's LINC 3.0 Project, followed by discussions featuring participants from Gimje City, Jeonju City, the National Food Cluster, Suzy's Link, the Korean Dietitians Association, Jeonju Food, and other relevant parties.
