On November 14th, 2023, SUJISLINK held a tasting event at domestic catering company, gathering representatives related.  The event showcased HMMA (High Moisture Meat Alternative), a plant-based protein food developed in collaboration with Unilever Korea (www.unilever.co.kr) and their Knorr sauces.

The event featured various Korean dishes such as hamburger steak, bulgogi, chicken nuggets, sweet and sour chicken, and spicy chicken, all prepared using HMMA, which drew significant interest from attendees. These plant-based protein products, dubbed fourth-generation products, boast a chewy and tender texture that makes it easy to recreate a variety of Korean dishes that traditional meat alternatives have struggled to achieve.

In addition to showcasing versatility with various Knorr sauces, the event demonstrated the potential for recreating not only local Korean cuisine but also international dishes. After a brief product introduction, participants sampled the plant-based protein food and expressed surprise and delight at its similarity to real meat.

A representative from SUJISLINK noted that the event reaffirmed the product’s excellence and emphasized the company’s commitment to promoting the product to a wider audience.
