SUJISLINK a participating company in the Food Tech 42 Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the Alliance) from the Seoul metropolitan area, is accelerating its expansion efforts through collaboration with Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province and the Jeonbuk Bio Convergence Industry Promotion Agency.
The Alliance, spearheaded by Jeonbuk Province to lead the agro-life industry, was established in September last year as a consultative body for open innovation among industry, academia, research, and government sectors. The Alliance operates two specialized groups: the 'SF (Alternative Food) Group' focused on sustainable food and the 'DX (Digital Transformation) Group' focused on smart manufacturing.
SUJISLINK is a member of the Alliance's SF Group and is the first food tech company in Korea to introduce production facilities for plant-based protein alternatives (HMMA - High Moisture Meat Analogue). As a key SME capable of mass-producing high-moisture textured protein, SUJISLINK produces a variety of alternative meat products. It also collaborates in various areas, including with The Vegetarian Butcher, a subsidiary of the global company Unilever, to offer vegan sauce products, further expanding its scope.
Notably, at the 'Seoul International Food Industry Exhibition 2024 (SEOUL FOOD 2024)' held in June, Unilever Food Solutions and SUJISLINK participated with a joint booth, gaining attention as a company with significant growth potential for exploring new domestic and international markets...
